Keshet International Partners with YTV

Keshet International (KI) has entered into an agreement with Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation (YTV) in Japan to co-develop non-scripted content to create an international format for the global market.

The deal, which is the first of its kind between Keshet International and YTV, strengthens KI’s presence in the Asian market. The agreement covers the development of at least one non-scripted title, to be developed this year, with the potential to extend the agreement to develop additional formats. The companies will jointly own the format, which will pilot on YTV within six months of completion.

Gary Pudney, the head of Asia at Keshet International, said: “We are thrilled to be collaborating with YTV to co-develop non-scripted content in Japan. We hope that this new agreement signifies the first of many to come in the region, and the start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship, as we continue our commitment to expand our presence in Asia.”

Akito Sasagawa, the international sales manager at YTV, added: “We are excited to develop non-scripted content with Keshet International. By uniting our expertise and creativity, we are confident that we will develop unique and appealing non-scripted formats.”
