James Townley & Lucas Green Upped at Banijay

Banijay has elevated James Townley and Lucas Green to new roles at the helm of its non-scripted operation, Creative Networks.

Townley has been promoted to chief content officer, development, while Green becomes chief content officer, operations, effective immediately.

Townley continues his oversight of unscripted development across the group, while also being responsible for third-party format acquisition and expanding his remit to include documentaries. Townley’s department manages all group-level investments in non-scripted, including the Creative Fund. Green’s role sees him working with Banijay’s non-scripted labels worldwide, focusing on production efficiency and best practices and strengthening the company’s slate of mega-format brands. Both report to CEO Marco Bassetti.
