EndemolShine Nederland Adapts Bloody Game for Videoland

EndemolShine Nederland is producing an adaptation of the South Korean survival reality format Bloody Game for RTL’s Videoland, locally titled Vals Spel.

“The format’s intense mix of unexpected twists, social dynamics and high-stakes competition has made Bloody Game a streaming success internationally, and our team has worked to create a version that captures that excitement featuring Dutch celebrities,” said Rob van der Vleugel, managing director of EndemolShine Nederland. “We can’t wait to see how the Netherlands responds to this cunning and gripping reality series.”

This marks the fifth adaptation for the Banijay Entertainment format, which has previously had versions made in Norway, Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

The format sees competitors cut off completely from the outside world, with the goal of outlasting their rivals while withstanding physical and mental challenges.
