Eileen Fröhlich Joins ZDF Studios’ CONTENT LADEN

Executive producer Eileen Fröhlich is set to join the production company CONTENT LADEN, a subsidiary of ZDF Studios.

Fröhlich was formerly executive producer at SEO Entertainment, a LEONINE Group company, for more than 16 years. She was responsible for the cabaret show Frank am Freitag as well as formats such as Down the Road, Das Lachen der Anderen and That’s My Jam. At CONTENT LADEN, which Fröhlich will join in April, she will initially be in charge of the ZDF satire format Die Anstalt.

“We are very happy to have found an absolute top candidate in Eileen,” said producers Tom Gamlich and Jan Fritzowsky. “For the future and the further development of such an award-winning format as Die Anstal, we couldn’t think of anyone more suitable. Eileen brings a lot of experience and a big heart.”

Fröhlich commented, “I would like to thank my team and my current company for 16 wonderful years, but I am now looking forward to a new start. I have fond memories of the startup spirit that CONTENT LADEN is currently experiencing and believe it is a perfect fit both creatively and personally.”

At the beginning of the year, CONTENT LADEN took over Die Anstalt, which had been a ZDF in-house production for many years, in cooperation with Redspider as studio service provider. In its second year of existence, CONTENT LADEN has been producing its own formats with a focus on factual entertainment. This includes, most recently, Magic Moves, a social factual program with the Ehrlich Brothers.
