Dori Media Sends Best of All to Mexico

Dori Media Group has licensed the shiny-floor game-show format Best of All to TV Azteca in Mexico.

Best of All tests the theory that a crowd of people will answer a question correctly more often than an individual or even an expert. The sale to TV Azteca marks the first international format deal for the show, which was created by Abot Hameiri and Reshet. The first season of the Mexican version will consist of 10 episodes and is expected to air in prime time.

Nadav Palti, the CEO of Dori Media Group, commented: “We are delighted to sign the first international deal for Best of All. The format provides a genuinely innovative take on the modern game show, where contestants are essentially competing against hundreds of audience members connected to the game via smartphones. As a format, it is highly replicable, has the potential to redefine its genre and it provides broadcasters with good value but high-quality content. We expect the format to be very successful among TV Azteca’s discerning viewers when it is broadcast in its prime-time slot.”

Joshua Mintz, deputy to the president of TV Azteca, added: “TV Azteca is a great place to create TV and adapt foreign formats. Our experience with contest shows has been a success. TV Azteca is the home of great events and great contest shows. The Mexican audience will be very pleased with what we will be offering with Dori Media’s format.”
