CJ ENM Lands Scripted Format Deals in Asia

CJ ENM has landed three new scripted adaptation deals in Thailand and the Philippines.

True CJ Creations will launch the Thai remake of Happiness, first aired in Korea in 2021, on May 30 on TrueID, with a remake of Mouse planned for August.

Meanwhile, in the Philippines, It’s Okay to Not Be Okay is being adapted by ABS-CBN Studios. Sebastian Kim, the VP of the international business department at CJ ENM, commented, “At CJ ENM, we are deeply committed to bringing our stories across borders through meaningful global partnerships. We’re thrilled to see It’s Okay to Not Be Okay reimagined by ABS-CBN for Filipino audiences.
