Catchpoint Lands First Asian Commission

The physical game show Catchpoint has clinched its first-ever Asian commission with a slot with Sri Lanka’s SIRASA TV.

The deal secured by ITV Studios also sees the renewal of The Voice franchise with the Sri Lankan media group.

In addition to launching SIRASA Catchpoint this summer, the network will remain as the home of The Voice Sri Lanka and The Voice Teens, renewed for seasons three and four, respectively.

“The expansion of our partnership with SIRASA TV is a testament to the strength and versatility of our formats,” said Augustus Dulgaro, executive VP for the Asia Pacific, global partnerships, at ITV Studios. “We’re proud to see The Voice continue to thrive in Sri Lanka, and we’re equally excited to bring the dynamic energy of Catchpoint to Asian audiences for the first time. This exciting gameshow is definitely one to watch.”

Catchpoint and our enduring, exciting partnership with ITV Studios signals SIRASA TV’s clear intent to give Sri Lankan audiences the very best international entertainment that’s proudly made in Sri Lanka,” said Chevaan Daniel, group director of The Capital Maharaja Group, which owns SIRASA TV.
