The Dutch broadcaster SBS6 has ordered 103 new episodes of ITV Studios’ daily dating show Let Love Rule.

The new episodes are expected to go on air as of August 10, immediately following the first batch of 110 episodes. In line with the current COVID-19 measures in the Netherlands, the production team on site has been brought back to a bare minimum, and the couples in the apartments are following all measures of the government. Let Love Rule is a co-production of ITV Studios Netherlands and TEP.

Let Love Rule finds out what happens if singles live together from the very first date, getting all the time in the world to get to know one another. Each matched couple moves in together on their very first date, living together for at least 24 hours and a maximum of five days.

Maarten Meijs, president of global entertainment for ITV Studios, said: “We are incredibly proud to build on the success of Let Love Rule. The dating genre is extremely popular and this is a very relevant production, especially in current times, where people are desperately looking for a spell of positivity and interpersonal contact. The Dutch production business has found a great and very effective way of producing the show safely in our local (Dutch) market, making it possible to continue during lockdown while safeguarding the core elements of the format.”
