Endemol Shine Group’s MasterChef: All Stars is set to get local versions in Brazil and Sweden, with the series recommissioned for a third run in Denmark.

Endemol Shine Brazil is set to produce a 10×75-minute Brazilian version for Bandeirantes and Discovery Home Health, with Meter TV, part of Endemol Shine Nordics, creating the 8×44-minute Swedish series for TV4. The 12×42-minute Danish iteration will be made by Metronome DK, also part of Endemol Shine Nordics, for TV3.

MasterChef: All Stars takes a unique twist on the well-known MasterChef format and brings the heat to the kitchen as returning contestants face each other in serious cooking challenges to win the ultimate champion title. The MasterChef format launched in 1990 in the U.K. and aired for over a decade on the BBC. In 2005 the format was revived for the BBC as MasterChef Goes Large, and four years later Australia became the first country to adapt the format outside of the U.K. It is produced and distributed by Endemol Shine Group.

Lisa Perrin, Endemol Shine Group’s CEO of creative networks, said: “MasterChef: All Stars is a total celebration of one of the jewels in our cookery crown. The fact that we have three key territories signed up in such a short window is testament to how strong and adaptable the brand is. We look forward to seeing which returning chefs will reign supreme within each territory and welcoming more iterations soon.”
