Amos Genish Named CEO at Telecom Italia

The board of directors at Telecom Italia (TIM) has unanimously appointed Amos Genish as CEO and named him to the company’s board.

As CEO, Genish will be charged with identifying the guidelines for the development of the Group; supervising the definition of its organizational arrangements, economic and financial operations, and the process of defining the guidelines of the internal control and risk management system; organizing legal affairs, institutional communications, public affairs, as well as the governing Fondazione TIM; and representing the company and the Group in its external relations with public authorities, institutions and investors. The responsibility of brand strategy and media have been transferred from the executive chair to the CEO. From January to July 2017, Genish held the position of chief convergence officer of Vivendi.

Executive Deputy Chairman Giuseppe Recchi will have deputy functions, as well as organizational responsibility for the security department. Recchi was also appointed as chairman of the strategic committee.
