MIPTV 2016 to Shine Spotlight on Germany

PARIS: MIPTV 2016 is hosting a special Focus on Germany, with lead partners Red Arrow International and ZDF Enterprises.

The MIPTV Focus on Germany will shine a light on new German programming, along with allowing global TV professionals to meet top-level executives from the German TV industry and forge new partnerships with German producers. Red Arrow International and ZDF Enterprises will host special conference sessions on international production and co-production of scripted and non-scripted TV programs. Other German media companies confirmed as partners with the Focus on Germany program include Deutsche Welle, Global Screen and WDR mediagroup.

In addition, Beta Film will host an international screening on April 4. An enlarged German Pavilion will be back on the MIPTV exhibition floor with AG Dok, ARRI Media, German Films, SOLA Media, Spiegel TV and Your Family Entertainment confirmed as exhibitors.

MIPDoc will host a series of special Focus on Germany presentations by the Documentary Campus, a non-profit organization based in Munich, which will be running six workshops during the weekend.
