NATPE Europe Spotlight: SPI International/FilmBox

PRAGUE: The focus for SPI International at NATPE Europe is on content acquisitions for its various channels, including FilmBox Arthouse.

“While looking for content, we are also conducting sales, offering our rich catalogue of movies and TV series to the local pay- and free-TV networks throughout CEE,” says Berk Uziyel, the executive director of SPI International and FilmBox International. “We continue to offer blockbuster movies, popular TV series, miniseries and TV movies that are sought by TV networks all across the region. In addition, we offer a growing portfolio of thematic channels, including FightBox HD, which now features regular live events broadcast from various cities in Europe and the U.S.”

The company is also exploring 4K opportunities as it gears up to launch MadscreenBox, an interactive game channel.
