Slew of BBC Shows Hit Amazon Prime Instant Video in the U.K.

LONDON: An agreement between Amazon and BBC Worldwide sees a broad selection of British comedies and dramas, among them Sherlock and Doctor Who, becoming available to stream on Prime Instant Video in the U.K.

Other dramas joining the service include Call the Midwife, Last Tango in Halifax and Life on Mars. Included among the newly added comedies are The Office, Absolutely Fabulous and Red Dwarf, along with Top Gear.

These new BBC titles join a selection of more than 15,000 films and TV shows available for streaming to members in the U.K.
