New OZ, NZ Sales at ITV Studios Global Entertainment

LONDON: A raft of dramas and comedies from the ITV Studios Global Entertainment catalogue are headed to broadcasters across Australia and New Zealand, with new sales totaling around 50 hours of programming.

UKTV in Australia went for The Syndicate, which follows a group of supermarket workers who suddenly strike it rich by winning the lottery. UKTV also went for seasons one and two of the sitcom Miranda from Miranda Hart. Universal in Australia picked up White Heat, which looks at the lives of a group of friends over the course of four decades, as well as A Year of Greater Love, At Water’s Edge and the TV movie Have a Little Faith. Foxtel Networks took on season two of White Van Man.

UKTV also picked up The Syndicate for New Zealand. Prime opted for season six of the detective drama Lewis. Rialto scored the first two installments of the contemporary drama Love/Hate.
