Lasse Hallberg is stepping down from his position as CEO of Monday’s collective Norwegian companies after more than eight years in the role.

Monday has appointed a new management team across the companies. Stina Greaker, former COO, takes the role of CEO for the Norwegian parent company, Monday Production. Three of the group’s companies have appointed daily managers reporting directly to the board: Hege Christensen for Teddy TV, Hallvard Berby for Feelgood and Magnus Sveen for Monday Sport.

Martin Dalgaard, CEO of the Monday Group, said: “Lasse has made a tremendous contribution to Monday in Norway. It can be said quite simply: Without Lasse, we would not have achieved the solid position with the strong creative brands that we have today. Lasse’s experience and exceptional network, both locally and internationally, have been invaluable to us. We have a lot to thank Lasse for, and we wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

Hallberg said: “These have been eight fantastic years, and I would like to extend a special thanks to all the talented employees who have contributed to building this into Norway’s (and perhaps the Nordic region’s) largest independent production company. It started as a small production company, but those who know me are aware that I am more inclined to say ‘yes’ than ‘no,’ so it grew from the day I entered the office with a few employees. It has become an amazing team, and I am sincerely grateful to everyone involved, as well as Monday Media for taking the risk.”

Dalgaard added: “Throughout her years at Monday, Stina has proven herself to be a strong and highly competent leader with a special understanding of the requirements in a modern creative workplace. Additionally, she possesses extensive experience in development, content creation and production processes. With Stina at the helm, we ensure continued dynamic development and the best possible environment for creative content creation.”

He continued: “Hege, Hallvard and Magnus are all experienced and skilled leaders, each with a clear vision of the strengths and future potential of the well-established brands they are responsible for.”

Greaker commented: “I am looking forward to building upon the strong foundation that has been laid and working together with the talented colleagues at Monday, Teddy and Feelgood to tackle the exciting challenges and opportunities we face in a rapidly evolving market.”
