It’s a Sin, Lupin Score Edinburgh TV Awards

The Edinburgh TV Festival has presented its annual awards, with nods going to We Are Lady Parts, It’s a Sin and Lupin, among others.

BBC One was named Channel of the Year at this year’s TV Awards, presented with a digital ceremony hosted on Twitter by Kae Kurd. All 4 was awarded Best On Demand Service. Sky Arts won Specialist Channel of the Year.

We Are Lady Parts (Working Title Television for Channel 4) was crowned in the Best Comedy Series category. In the performance arena, O-T Fagbenle in Maxxx won for comedy actor.

It’s a Sin (RED Production Company for Channel 4 and HBO Max in association with All3Media International) won Best Drama, while Lupin (Gaumont Television for Netflix) won for Best International Drama. Hayley Squires in Adult Material was recognized on the performance side.

In the Entertainment category, Rob & Romesh Vs. (CPL Productions for Sky One) came out on top.

Best Documentary went to America’s War on Abortion (Exposure) (Fuuse Films for ITV). For Best Popular Factual Series, Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back (Rumpus Media for Channel 4) took home the award.

Roman Kemp won as Best TV Presenter. Yinka Bokinni was named Breakthrough Talent.

The Global Success Award was presented to All3Media International. Bad Wolf won Production Company of the Year, and Flicker Productions won Small Indie of the Year.
