FilmRise & NENT Group Enter Content Pact

FilmRise and NENT Studios UK, the production and distribution business within the Nordic Entertainment (NENT) Group, have entered into a partnership that includes the licensing of over 500 hours of content.

Through the deal, FilmRise has acquired all digital rights, including AVOD and SVOD, for the content package in both the North and South American territories. Programs include Peep Show, Black Books and the original British version of Shameless. The company has also picked up the exclusive AVOD rights to the first five seasons of Doc Martin and will be bringing the sixth season to AVOD platforms as part of the deal.
