MarVista Seals Volume Movie Deals in CEE

MarVista Entertainment has inked volume deals that bring over 120 movie titles to StoryTV in Hungary, bTV in Bulgaria and TVP in Poland.

“TVP Poland has been a consistent buyer of MarVista movies for several years, and we are happy that Hungary’s Story TV and bTV Bulgaria are new broadcast partners for MarVista, which is a testament to the appeal and popularity of our content,” says Jody Cipriano, MarVista’s head of global distribution. “Each of these broadcasters picked up rights for thrillers, romance, family, action/disaster and holiday fare, validating our commitment to producing movies with high production values, recognizable talent and engaging storylines. It’s a formula that continues to work for us around the globe.”

In Bulgaria, bTV Media Group licensed over 70 movie titles, including the thrillers 12 Feet Deep and Sleepwalker and the holiday movies A Cinderella Christmas and Married by Christmas.

StoryTV in Hungary opted for 35 new titles, including Autumn Stables, Dangerous Date, The Nanny Betrayal and Murder with a Twist.

TVP, which has been buying MarVista movie titles since 2016, has added a raft of thrillers and romance titles to its deal with the company, among them Cradle Swapping and Love at First Bark.
