UKTV has secured a multi-show deal with Disney U.K. that includes the crime drama Harrow and three seasons of the U.S. comedy American Housewife.

New and exclusive in the U.K. to Alibi, Harrow stars Ioan Gruffudd as forensic pathologist Dr. Daniel Harrow. The show is set in Australia and produced by ABC Studios International, Hoodlum Entertainment and the Australian Broadcasting Corporation.

The comedy American Housewife, from ABC Studios, is coming to W. The series chronicles the daily life of housewife Katie Otto (Katy Mixon) as she tries to stand out among the wealthy and pretentious housewives and their privileged children in her new hometown of Westport, Connecticut.

Also included in the deal is the eight-part U.S. drama The Assets, from Lincoln Square Productions. It stars Jodie Whittaker as CIA officer Sandra Grimes. The series is based on the book Circle of Treason: A CIA Account of Traitor Aldrich Ames and the Men He Betrayed.

Quantico, from ABC Studios, will return to Alibi with season three launching exclusively on the channel in June. Exclusive to W is the return of ABC Studios’ Code Black with seasons three and four.

Emma Sparks, head of acquisitions at UKTV, said: “We are thrilled to be working with Disney once again to bring these gripping shows to British viewers first. From emergencies in the operating theater to solving crimes in sunny Brisbane, we are proud to add these series to UKTV’s growing slate of premiere acquisitions.”

Dayna Donaldson, general manager of media distribution for Disney UK & Ireland, said: “With this broad new range of hit series, we’re sure to offer something to cater to all UKTV viewers’ tastes. We are looking forward to working with UKTV to bring the crime drama Harrow to the U.K. for the first time, following its great success in Australia, as the first co-production out of ABC Studios International’s London-based team.”
