Colin McLeod has become the new general manager of Fox Networks Group UK, a role previously held by Jeff Ford.

McLeod will initially be starting his role on a part-time basis, before transitioning into full time early in the spring. As previously announced, Ford will continue with Fox Networks Group in a consulting capacity, supporting McLeod during this transition and focusing on the continued development of the original content strategy and launch of Deep State, the first original scripted drama from Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa.

Previously, McLeod was with NBCUniversal as the managing director of the U.K. and emerging markets from 2015 until 2017. More recently, he has continued to work for NBCUniversal in a consultancy capacity.

McLeod said, “I am excited to have the opportunity to join Fox Networks Group and lead a portfolio of successful and distinct entertainment and documentary brands, which are well-positioned for the dynamic U.K. media market.”

Diego Londono, the chief operating officer of Fox Networks Group Europe & Africa, said, “Colin’s blended background offers a well-rounded and hugely valuable experience to our business and we have no doubt he will step into the role and immediately have an impact. We are thrilled to have Colin join the family and lead our U.K. business.”
