Kino Polska Now Sole Shareholder in Cable Television Networks & Partners

SPI International subsidiary Kino Polska TV has acquired all of the shares in Cable Television Networks & Partners for PLN10 million ($2.8 million), taking full control of the company, which operates the state-issued license for the terrestrial channel Zoom TV.

Kino Polska TV bought 236 shares from the Polish Chamber of Electronic Communication and now owns 100 percent of the share capital of Cable Television Networks & Partners. Zoom TV is a new nationwide Polish channel with a programming lineup that includes hit movies, TV series, documentaries and current news from the region. Kino Polska Group plans to transform Zoom TV into a multiplatform brand that will supplement the film offering in the group’s portfolio from both Kino Polska and the FilmBox brands.
