LONDON: Twofour Group companies Boomerang, Twofour Wales and Indus have been combined to create a single label under the Boomerang brand.

The new outfit will be led by Matt Pritchard as managing director. Pritchard, who begins in his role with immediate effect, was previously overseeing non-scripted development across the Twofour Group, as group director of development. Sam Grace (The Choir, The Apprentice) has been appointed as director of programs, transitioning from his position as executive producer for Cardiff-based Twofour Wales. The management team will also include Shona Baldwin, director of development; Wil Edwards, head of production; and Sharon Bennett, executive producer.

Andrew MacKenzie, the chief creative officer of the Twofour Group, said: “We believe that by creating one strong label in Cardiff we can supercharge the production community in Wales and build an outstanding company. In joining Boomerang alongside Sam, Sharon, Shona and Wil, he completes a management team capable of ambitious, award-winning television.”

Pritchard added: “After five enjoyable years at Twofour I am delighted to be joining Boomerang as we look to extend existing brands and develop an exciting new slate of ideas that will ensure our place as a leading production company in Wales.”

Grace said: “I am thrilled to return home to Cardiff to join one of the most exciting production companies in Wales. There is a massive amount of talent available to us here in Wales and I am looking forward to helping Boomerang continue to produce top-quality network television from our Cardiff base.”
