New CFO in Place at FremantleMedia

LONDON: Andrew Bott has been appointed as the new chief financial officer (CFO) at FremantleMedia, effective March 2016.

In his new role, Bott will sit on the FremantleMedia Operating Board. He will be responsible for all financial reporting and controlling for the FremantleMedia Group. He will also be responsible for corporate financial strategy and risk management, and will be charged with providing finance expertise and support for all M&A activity. In addition, Bott will lead the Group Finance team, working with the territory heads of finance for the company. He will be based in London and report to CEO Cecile Frot-Coutaz. Bott joins FremantleMedia from BBC Worldwide, where he serves as CFO, responsible for BBC Worldwide’s financial reporting, FP&A, treasury, tax and risk management activities and financial strategy. He also manages the financial aspects of M&A activities.
