LONDON: Kelly Webb-Lamb, Shine TV's current managing director, is slated to leave the company at the end of the year.

Webb-Lamb joined Shine TV as creative director in 2012. She became the company's managing director the following year. Before she steps down, she will collaborate with Shine TV's senior team to ensure a smooth transition to new leadership.

During her time at Shine TV, Webb-Lamb has managed the company's expanded slate, with hit shows on leading broadcasters, including The Island with Bear Grylls and Hunted for Channel 4. She has also contributed to the success of The Undriveables, Help, I'm Having Triplets! and Britain's Best Bakery for ITV, among other shows on other networks. Earlier in her career, she served as the director of factual programs at Princess Productions.

Webb-Lamb said: "I joined Shine TV with the ambition of defining the company as creators of brilliant popular factual television through impactful, standout shows. I am hugely proud of what has been achieved, with a healthy slate including award-winning returning formats, a development pipeline with huge promise and a truly exceptional team in place to take this forward. So I believe I can now leave this on a high and take a break before seeing what the future holds. I couldn't be more grateful to, and in awe of, the whole Shine TV team that I've had the privilege to work with on our shows across this time. I wish them and the wider team at Endemol Shine all the best for what I'm sure will be a bright future. I will be watching…"

Richard Johnston, the CEO of Endemol Shine UK, added: "Kelly has lead Shine TV through an outstanding period establishing a diverse range of shows of returning and popular formats in the U.K. and internationally. She leaves Shine TV with our great thanks and in formidable shape to be taken forward by new leadership next year. We will all take the time over the next few months to explore who and what form this could best take. In the meantime we wish Kelly the very best for whichever challenge she chooses to undertake next."
