LONDON: SVOD service MUBI has inked a multi-year licensing deal with Paramount Pictures that will make the studio’s library of content available to U.K. subscribers for the first time.

Through the deal, films such as No Country for Old Men, Mission: Impossible, Zoolander, Roman Holiday and Revolutionary Road will join MUBI’s growing library of premium titles. Efe Cakarel, the founder and CEO of MUBI, said: “Following a really successful summer, this new deal continues to show tremendous momentum in our growth and unique ability to offer curated and compelling films. Working with Paramount Pictures is just one of the latest of great partnerships we have developed, which include festivals, major studios and distribution platforms and we are looking forward to welcoming the Coen brothers to the platform.”

Matthew Downer, the VP of regional television licensing for Paramount Pictures, said: “MUBI has a unique and passionate membership and we are delighted that they will be able to enjoy an array of films from Paramount’s outstanding library.”
