LONDON: FOX UK has acquired Talking Dead, the live companion after show for the hit zombie thriller The Walking Dead.

Season six of The Walking Dead kicks off October 12 at 9 p.m. on FOX UK. Talking Dead will air immediately following each episode. The live after show is hosted by Chris Hardwick. It serves as a platform for discussing all things Walking Dead.

Jeff Ford, the managing director for FOX International Channels UK, commented: “FOX will always be the only place in the U.K. where viewers can watch premiere episodes of The Walking Dead, just 24 hours after the U.S. transmission. Fans are passionate about the series and Talking Dead will allow them to catch up on even more zombie excitement, with exclusive interviews from the cast and crew, to really enhance their viewing experience.”

Hardwick added: “I am THRILLED to finally be able to bring the show to the U.K. Talking Dead gives fans the opportunity to communally process the episode they've just watched and to nerd out about the story in a very public forum: what they like, what they don't like, or what types of filthy things they want to do with Daryl. Additionally, it will better inform viewers on making intelligent decisions when faced with the zombie apocalypse, which will DEFINITELY happen at some point (TIP: trust no one and aim for the brain).”
