New CEO in Place at CANAL+ Group

PARIS: CANAL+ Group has elevated Maxime Saada, currently executive VP and head of pay TV, to the role of CEO, replacing Rodolphe Belmer.

Belmer has officially been "relieved of his responsibilities," according to the company's supervisory board.

Saada has held the executive VP and head of pay TV post at CANAL+ since 2013. He joined the company in 2004 as director of strategy.

Also, Grégoire Castaing, the chief financial officer of CANAL+ Group, was appointed to the company's management board. Castaing joins fellow board members Saada and Bertrand Méheut, the chairman of CANAL+.
