Enterprises Sonor Picks Up Eberhard Schoener Music Catalogue

MAINZ: Enterprises Sonor, a joint venture between ZDF Enterprises and Bavaria Media, is jumping into the music field after acquiring more than 1,000 titles from musician Eberhard Schoener.

The rights pickup sets the stage for Sonor to enter the music-production industry. The studio also holds a few other productions by famous artists, with other titles in a preparation phase. Schoener has composed music for more than 300 film and TV productions, and has also worked with artists such as Sting, Procol Harum, Gianna Nannini, Andrea Bocelli and Deep Purple.

Rolf Moser, Enterprises Sonor’s managing director, said: “We will build an impressive production music catalogue with a spectrum ranging from world music to jazz/rock and children’s songs.
