PARIS: Terranoa has sold GRIP: Das Motormagazin, a ready-made motoring program from the catalogue of Germany's Autentic Distribution, to L'Équipe 21 in France.

Hosted by four professional drivers, GRIP: Das Motormagazin attracts millions of viewers on Germany's RTL 2 every week. The show, produced by Focus TV, also has a dedicated following on Facebook and YouTube. Its first episode is scheduled to premiere on L'Équipe 21 next month.

Bertand Lossignol, the head of French sales at Terranoa, commented: "Every week, [the drivers] take the viewers into great cars to live races and daring and spectacular productions. Conceived without a set, the show is shot in Germany and abroad and includes specific sequences of car tests, extreme tests on second-hand cars and comparative car trials."

Xavier Spender, the CEO of L'Équipe 21, added: "The automobile market is deeply ingrained in the DNA of L'Équipe's brand. Thus, L'Équipe 21 is glad to offer a wider range of contents with reference to the automobile sector through the exclusive launch of GRIP: Das Motormagazin. Thanks to this show, the French TV channel will offer its viewers an authentic, spectacular and off-beat rendezvous."
