Prison Drama Locked Up Part of Imagina’s MIPTV Lineup

MADRID: In Cannes next week, distributor Imagina International Sales is set to present the prison drama Locked Up, among other new productions.

Locked Up (Vis a Vis) is a Globomedia production due to air on Spain’s Antena 3. It follows the story of Macarena, a young woman sent to prison for a fiscal offense who finds herself involved in an unexpected thriller. The company has also secured the period drama Royal Hospital (Hospital Real), from Ficción Producciones for Televisión de Galicia, about the impossible love between a doctor from the aristocracy and a commoner nurse in the 18th century.

Other catalogue additions include the period-drama TV film The Marina Café (El Café de la Marina), which was recently broadcast on Televisión de Catalunya, along with the second season of B&B Magazine, a Globomedia production for Telecinco, and a new season of Serramoura, from Voz Audiovisual for Televisión de Galicia.

Imagina will also present new entertainment titles, including Two for the Show (Los Viernes al Show), Catch Me If You Can (Atrapame Si Puedes), Fabriclan Kids and The Run of Your Life (La Carrera de Tu Vida), as well as feature-film productions The Lasa & Zabala Case (Lasa & Zabala), Traces of Sandalwood (Rastres de Sandal) and the documentary film Messi, directed by Alex de la Iglesia.
