LONDON: Jane Turton has been named CEO of All3Media, giving her oversight of a production group that houses some 20 companies.

Turton joined All3Media in October 2008 as director of business development and business affairs and deputy COO, before becoming COO in 2011. She had been leading the company on an interim basis since September, when Farah Ramzan Golant announced her departure in the wake of Discovery Communications and Liberty Global finalizing their joint acquisition of All3Media.

Commenting for the shareholders, James Rosenstock, Discovery Communications' executive VP of corporate development, said, “Jane Turton has done an outstanding job of leading All3Media with a winning combination of creative acumen and operational excellence.”

Niall Curran, the president of Liberty Global Content Investments, added, “After a global search for a new CEO, Jane was the resounding and clear choice to lead All3Media’s business in 2015 and beyond.”

Turton remarked: “I am delighted to become CEO of All3Media; it’s a hugely exciting time to be leading an international production company. With its wealth of incredible talent and breadth of award-winning content, All3Media is in prime position to take full advantage of the opportunities opening up in the ever changing content market. I very much look forward to leading All3Media to a future of continued global growth with the support of our new shareholders and my fantastic team and colleagues across the group.”
