New SVP of International Co-Pros & Docs for ProSiebenSat.1

UNTERFÖHRING: ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland has tapped Koby Gal-Raday as its senior VP of international co-productions and documentaries, a newly created post.

Gal-Raday is due to start his role November 15, reporting directly to Wolfgang Link, the CEO of ProSiebenSat.1 TV Deutschland. The exec will be charged with expanding the international co-productions of the German TV station group in the fiction and non-fiction categories. Thomas von Hennet, the VP of international co-productions and documentaries, reports directly to him.

Gal-Raday has worked in the film and TV industries for more than a decade in the European market and in his native country of Israel. He was the co-founder and artistic director of the production studio July-August Productions, which was recently acquired by the Red Arrow Group.

“International co-productions (The Pillars of the Earth, D-Day, Supervolcano) represent an important part of our top-quality programming mix,” Link said. “Under the leadership of Koby Gal-Raday we will expand our activities further in this area, so as to continue being one of the most sought-after partners in the market for national and international co-productions that will serve as outstanding prime-time programs for our TV stations.”
