LONDON: David Frank, who previously served as CEO of Zodiak Media, has founded a new content group, Dial Square 86, focused on the creation, enhancement and exploitation of entertainment across all platforms.

Frank, who was also founder and CEO of RDF Media, serves as CEO of the newly formed Dial Square 86. The venture will consist of a mix of established companies, start-ups and businesses in the early stages of growth. Dial Square 86 will invest in three primary areas of business: content origination, content enhancement and aligned businesses.

Dial Square 86 has already secured the acquisition of Red Hare Digital, a creator talent agency that manages a diverse network of YouTube talent in beauty and fashion and works with brands such as L’Oreal, Maybelline, Rimmel, Max Factor and Topshop.

Frank said: “The TV content business has changed beyond all recognition, with online video broadcast transforming the viewing experience, and new creators on platforms like YouTube expanding the definition of entertainment content. Where traditional broadcasters and producers have been slow to react to this transformation, Dial Square 86 embraces the changes that global technology giants, such as Google, Amazon and Netflix have brought about, understanding that exclusive, compelling content still remains vital to attract and maintain audiences.”
