Televisión Española Taking Scripted Fare to MIPCOM

MADRID: Victor Ros, a series based on a popular set of mystery novels, will be among the scripted highlights Televisión Española is set to present at MIPCOM.

That title follows the titular inspector, who tackles cases in 19th-century Madrid using scientific methods developed by Scotland Yard. The series is an adaptation of the mysteries written by Jerónimo Tristante.

Also on offer is the third and final season of Isabel, the period drama following the lives of Spanish monarchs Isabella and Ferdinand as they try to unify the Kingdoms of Castile and Aragon. Other history-based titles include the TV movie Prim, the Murder on Turk Street, a thriller about an assassination conspiracy, and Vicente Ferrer, about a Spanish aid-worker in India.

Additional TVE titles include Mom Detective, Ana y los siete and coverage of the annual San Fermín Bull Running.
