LONDON: Michael Vine is stepping down as director of Objective Productions, the light-entertainment indie he co-founded in 1996 with Andrew O’Connor.

Vine will continue to manage talent through his agency, Michael Vine Associates. He will also pursue TV and movie projects. Objective is known for such Derren Brown specials and series as Peep Show and The Cube.

“It has been seven years since we sold to all3media, and working with Steve Morrison and Farah Ramzan Golant along with their team has been a fascinating journey,” Vine said. “I am leaving Objective in very good shape with a highly talented team led by Andrew Newman.”
