MADRID: FOX International Channels (FIC) is bringing FOXLife to Spain this fall, replacing FOX Crime.

The fully localized 24-hour network will be available on the leading Spanish pay-TV platforms, reaching 2.6 million subscribers within DTH, cable, IPTV and OTT services. The network features a mix of unscripted and scripted content, with a female skew. FOXLife will be tailored for Spanish viewers with programming that includes The Good Wife and Scandal alongside exclusive local commissions, including The World's Best Chefs.

The FOXLife launch rounds out FIC's bouquet in the market, which currently includes FOX and the suite of National Geographic branded channels. FOXLife will replace FOX Crime, with FOX Crime series migrating mainly to FOX.

“We are thrilled to launch FOXLife in Spain. The brand is core to our global entertainment portfolio and its entry into this market signals FIC’s continued investment and confidence in Spain,” said Adam Theiler, the executive VP of FIC Southern Europe and head of FIC Spain. “We are looking forward to introducing this great product and to entertaining local audiences with its addictive content.”
