SVT’s Stefan Baron Joins Nice Entertainment Group

STOCKHOLM: SVT veteran Stefan Baron has become the new head of international co-productions at MTG's Nice Entertainment Group and executive producer for Nice Drama.

As head of international co-productions, Baron will oversee the international financing of the group's drama projects and long-term international collaborations. He previously served as co-production executive for SVT Drama. Before that, he held a number of senior roles at SVT, including head of drama.

Mikael Wallén, the CEO of scripted for Nice Entertainment Group, remarked: "It is with great pleasure I welcome Stefan to Nice Entertainment Group. With his extensive experience in developing, financing and producing drama, Stefan will be a great addition to our team. I look forward to together with Stefan and our local subsidiaries continue Nice Entertainment Group's expansion within Scandinavian and International drama."

Baron added: "After many great years at SVT, as a producer and commissioner, it feels great and challenging to 'switch sides' and get the opportunity to work with a variety of broadcasters and aggregators with different needs.
