ITV Studios Daytime Names Managing EP

LONDON: Emma Gormley has been selected to fill the newly created post of managing executive producer at ITV Studios Daytime.

Gormley will be responsible for overseeing ITV Studios Daytime's catalogue of programming, which includes Lorraine, This Morning, Loose Women and Daybreak. Over the past few weeks she has been serving as interim managing exec producer. She will work under Denise O'Donoghue, the managing director of ITV Studios UK.

At ITV Daytime, Gormley has held such titles as deputy head of features for GMTV and editor for Lorraine. She previously worked at BBC Daytime.

O'Donoghue said: "I am delighted that Emma has accepted this role. She is a talented and experienced daytime producer and has done a fantastic job as editor of Lorraine over the last few years. Daytime is highly competitive and vitally important for both ITV Studios and our network. The success of this slate of programs is important to us and Emma has both the experience and imagination to successfully lead the daytime team."
