The 12th annual conference awards was hosted by Dara O Briain. The event named ITV as the channel of the year, reclaiming the win from last year’s honoree, BBC Two. Channel 4 was named channel breakthrough of the year for its disability awareness following last summer’s Paralympics.

Charlie Brooker’s Black Mirror was voted the network and ones to watch program choice. Wall to Wall, owned by Shed Media, won production company of the year, thanks to its work on The Voice and Who Do You Think You Are?, among other programs.

While Broadchurch won the new program award, creator and writer Chris Chibnall took home the industry standout talent of the year award.

The program innovation award was presented to The Undateables.
