MILAN: Sky 3D in Italy is set to air the 3D edition of the James Cameron blockbuster Titanic, making it the first TV channel in the world to do so.

Titanic in 3D will make its world premiere TV broadcast on July 14 at 9:10 p.m. on Sky 3D, with a simultaneous broadcast on Sky Cinema 1 HD. The 3D version was released in April last year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the sinking of the famous ship.

To celebrate the 3D premiere, Sky 3D is also going to broadcast a special feature, in 3D as well, with the images shot in London on March 28, 2012, on the occasion of the world preview of Titanic in 3D in the Royal Albert Hall.
