Breakthrough Completes Sales in Eastern Europe

TORONTO: Ahead of next week’s NATPE Budapest, Breakthrough Entertainment has sold programming to broadcasters in several Eastern European territories, including Poland and the Czech Republic, among others.

Digitalb and Telma TV picked up a slew of unscripted and factual content for broadcast in Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia and Bosnia. Titles include Streets of the World, Sea Nation, SWAP TV, Return to Nepal, Cracked, The Truth About ShopliftingBetween the Sheets, Picnicface, Diamond Road, Raw Opium, Clash of Cultures, One Ocean, 72 Hours, Sacred Balance, The Agents, The House of Tomorrow, Innovation Nation and Future Medicine.

Other sales include The Sacred Balance for CANAL+ CYFROWY S.A. in Poland; One Ocean and Kinderzoo for Ceska Televize in the Czech Republic; Crime Stories, David Rocco’s Amalfi Getaway and David Rocco’s Dolce Vita for Chello Central Europe in Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia; Sea Nation for First HDTV in Russia; Edge of War for FTV Prima in the Czech Republic; The Droogles for Orlando Kids in Croatia; and My Really Cool Legs and Hollywood’s 10 Best for POLSAT in Poland. In addition, the first four seasons of David Rocco’s Dolce Vita, along with its special, are headed to Croatia’s RTL.
