TRACE Group Expands Presence in Eastern Europe

LONDON: TRACE Group has signed an agreement with Orange Romania’s new Orange TV platform, marking its first launch in Romania.

The distribution deal involves a trio of TRACE television networks: TRACE Sports, which spotlights famous athletes; TRACE Urban, a hip-hop and R&B channel; and TRACE Tropical, which features Latin American, Caribbean, African and World music. TRACE Sports and TRACE Urban will be offered to Orange Romania’s customers through the World HD subscription package on channels 305 and 607, respectively. TRACE Tropical will be part of the Universe HD package on channel 610.

Julien Ducarroz, the CCO of Orange Romania, stated: "We have introduced a significant number of new TV channels in Romania and we are pleased to have Trace Sports HD, Trace Urban HD and Tropical HD among them. We want to address all customer needs and to offer those who are passionate about sports and music a wider portfolio of HD channels to choose from."
