This special screening session will highlight successful example of YouTube channels from around the world. This includes Christian Stevenson, a.k.a. DJ BBQ, from Jamie Oliver’s Food Tube; Philip Laude, the creator of Germany’s Ponk, the largest non-English-language original channel on YouTube; make-up artists Sam and Nic Chapman, of Pixiwoo; Tim "Livewire" Shieff, of the urban sports channel Flow: The Parkour Networks; Lorenzo Benedetti, the president of The Social Company Productions, discussing Studio Bagel; and Adrien Labastire, the deputy manager of the French-language digital comedy platform Golden Moustache.

“The Original Online Content Screenings set out to show the wider TV community the dynamic and innovative creativity that is abundant in the online arena, and to encourage the exchange between these web-based channels and other platforms,” commented Laurine Garaude, the director of the television division at Reed MIDEM.

The Original Online Content Screenings will take place on Monday, April 8, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., in the Grand Auditorium of the Palais.
