New Management & Production Outfit Established in the U.K.

LONDON: Rory Aitken, Ben Pugh, Josh Varney and Kate Buckley have set up 42, a new U.K.-based management and production company that will focus on film and television.

The company already has a number of actors, writers and directors to represent. This includes the actors Michael Caine, John Hurt, Rhys Ifans, Rupert Friend, Paul Bettany, Christopher Lee, Nicholas Hoult, Ben Drew, Clemence Poesy, Emily Mortimer, Tom Hollander, Jonny Lee Miller and Jonathan Rhys Meyers. There are also writers and directors that 42 is representing, among them William Monahan, Peter Cattaneo, Daniel Wolfe, Eran Creevy, Tom Harper, Rowan Athale, Terry George, Nima Nourizadeh, Noel Clarke, Daniel Barber, Baran Bo Odar, and Mark Tonderai.

The company already has projects in the works. Film projects include Welcome to the Punch, starring James McAvoy, which releases in the U.K. and U.S. in March 2013; and Autobahn, which will shoot in 2013.
