LONDON, November 16: Comedians David Walliams, Frank Skinner and Micky Flanagan are set to appear on I Love My Country, BBC One’s new Saturday night comedy-entertainment show.

I Love My Country watches as two teams of famous British people compete to see which group knows more about the United Kingdom. It will also include live music from singer-songwriter Jamelia’s house band. The 8×50-minute program, led by Walliams, Skinner and Flanagan, marks the first time the three comedians have ever worked together.

Co-produced by Avalon Television Scotland and Talpa, I Love My Country was inspired by the Dutch TV show of the same name. It is scheduled to debut on BBC One early next year.

Alan Tyler, BBC’s executive editor for entertainment commissioning, remarked: "I Love My Country is a funny, boisterous and shamelessly competitive celebration of the United Kingdom, with the perfect host and captains at the core. David, Frank, Micky and Jamelia have a terrific chemistry and we are delighted to be bringing the series to a BBC One audience."
