LONDON: Shine International has appointed Katrina Neylon, currently the VP of sales, to the role of senior VP for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

Ruth Clarke exited the post earlier this year. Neylon steps into the role, reporting to Nadine Nohr, the CEO of Shine International. Neylon will be heading up a team of six, responsible for devising the sales strategy for programs represented by the company across EMEA and across traditional and new-media channels.

Prior to joining Shine International as director of sales in 2011, Neylon was the senior sales manager for Central and Eastern Europe at The Walt Disney Company. She also previously held a sales role at Twentieth Century Fox Television International.

Nohr said: “This promotion marks the final piece in the jigsaw in the appointment of our regional heads, complementing Matt Ashcroft in Asia Pacific and Matt Vassallo and Tania Jacobson for Americas. Katrina has excelled in an acting capacity in this role for the past five months and has extensive multi genre distribution experience.”

Neylon said: “Shine International has established itself as one of the markets most dynamic and exciting distribution businesses. At the core of what we do is an incredibly strong portfolio of compelling and high value content—backed by a superb team of skilled and passionate specialists whom I feel privileged to work with.”
