STOCKHOLM: C More and Svensk Filmindustri have closed a deal for the SVOD rights for a package of films, crime series and children’s programming.

Subscribers to C More gain access to all existing seasons of British crime series such as Midsomer Murders and Inspector Morse. C More also renewed the first pay output deal for Svensk Filmindustri’s foreign films, which will run on linear TV as well as C More Play online and on demand. Films included in the pact are Babycall, Magnolia, About Schmidt, A History of Violence and Cool and Crazy. There’s also a number of children’s programs included, among them Chuggington and Babar.

"The SF titles further broaden the already extensive offer in our new service C More Play," said Johan Kleberg, the CEO of C More. "It’s especially pleasing to be able to offer a lineup of quality Nordic films."

"We at SF are very pleased to take our valuable cooperation with C More to another level by including SVOD rights," added Rasmus Ramstad, the CEO of Svensk Filmidustri.
"I’m convinced that the SVOD service will be warmly greeted by C Mores subscribers, who will be able to access our content in a very comfortable manner."
