RTVE Highlights Isabel

MADRID: Content from Televisión Española, including the historical series Isabel, will be presented for international buyers at MIPCOM by RTVE’s commercial department.

Isabel is a prime-time series that spotlights Spain’s Isabella the Catholic. The drama is being offered by RTVE alongside the new comedy Stamos okupa2. The series features Carmen Maura in a light-hearted comedy about a group of characters with different ages, social classes, beliefs and backgrounds who are all searching for a new life.

Radio Televisión Española will be attending this year’s event having refreshed its programming for the first time since the appointment of Leopoldo González-Echenique as president of RTVE by the Spanish Parliament in June. Ignacio Corrales, the new director of TVE, will also be attending the event.
