NBCU Creates New Role of SVP for Global Ad Sales in Channels Division

LONDON: NBCUniversal International Television has appointed Chris Shaw to serve in the newly created post of senior VP of global ad sales for its channels division.

Shaw is based in London. He reports directly to Duccio Donati, the executive VP of Universal Networks International. In the position, Shaw will work with local ad-sales teams to increase revenues and maximize opportunities for advertisers across NBCUniversal International’s core pay-TV brands. Prior to his appointment, Shaw was managing director at Up from the Skies, a media consultancy.

Donati commented: “Chris’ breadth of experience and innovative approach to driving commercial results is integral to the growth of our portfolio of channel brands around the world. His leadership will support the work of each of our local teams as we focus on strengthening the presence of NBCUniversal International Television’s global brands with advertisers.”
