MUNICH: Several changes have been made within the executive team at ProSiebenSat.1, as Jurgen Horner transitions to the full-time role of chairman of the board after having served in an acting capacity since the departure of Andreas Bartl.

Horner, who was the head of Pro7, becomes the managing director of the group’s German TV operations. He is replaced by Wolfgang Link, who has been the head of Sat.1’s entertainment operations since 2011. Link has also led format production for the group.

Joachim Kosack is exiting his post as the managing director of Sat.1, heading to UFA. Nicolas Paalzow, currently the managing director of MME Entertainment, will replace Paalzow.

All changes are effective October 1.
